Read this first. MY New Internet is an educational guide, not a VPN provider. We do not sell internet access, route your traffic, create VPN accounts, or provide emergency incident response. Any VPN or privacy product you choose is supplied under the third party’s own contract.

01

Agreement and eligibility

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of this website, its articles, comparison material, interactive elements, and contact form (collectively, the “Site”). The Site is published by MY New Internet Media. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

You must be legally capable of agreeing to these Terms where you live. If you use the Site for a company or other organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization, and “you” includes that organization. The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children below the minimum age for independent online consent in their jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms when the Site, our business, or applicable law changes. The date at the top identifies the latest version. Changes apply prospectively from publication unless a later date is stated. If a change materially affects your rights, we may provide an additional notice where reasonable or legally required. Continuing to use the Site after an update means the new Terms will govern that later use; mandatory rights that cannot be waived remain unaffected.

02

Educational and editorial nature

Our guides explain concepts such as encryption, tunneling protocols, DNS exposure, threat models, privacy policies, and product-selection criteria. This information is general education, not individualized legal, financial, compliance, or cybersecurity advice. A sensible privacy setup depends on details we do not know, including your location, adversaries, accounts, devices, workplace rules, and tolerance for risk. You should obtain qualified advice before relying on a tool for a high-risk activity, regulated obligation, or response to an active threat.

Technology changes quickly. A provider may alter its ownership, infrastructure, pricing, applications, logging practices, audit status, or terms after an article is published. Although we aim to research carefully and correct material errors, we do not warrant that every statement is current, complete, or suitable for a particular purpose. Publication of a provider’s name is not a guarantee, certification, or promise that the provider is safe. Rankings and recommendations reflect editorial judgment at the time of review and should be one input in your own assessment.

The Site does not make you anonymous and cannot verify what happens inside a third party’s network. Using a VPN also does not remove malware, stop all browser tracking, protect information you voluntarily give to a service, or make unlawful conduct lawful. We encourage layered security, current software, strong authentication, careful account practices, and a threat model appropriate to your circumstances.

03

Acceptable use

You may browse, link to, and make reasonable personal or internal-business use of the Site. You agree not to interfere with its normal operation or use it in a way that harms us, other readers, or third parties. In particular, you may not attempt to bypass security controls; probe systems without written authorization; introduce malicious code; overload the Site with automated requests; scrape at a rate that disrupts service; impersonate another person; submit unlawful, threatening, deceptive, or infringing material; or use the contact form for spam, credential collection, or unsolicited promotion.

You must not present our editorial content as your own, remove authorship or rights notices, build a competing database through systematic extraction, or use Site content to mislead people about a product’s capabilities. Limited quotation, linking, criticism, and other uses permitted by applicable law remain allowed. Search-engine indexing that follows published technical directives is permitted, but we reserve the right to restrict abusive bots or automated access needed to protect availability and security.

You are responsible for complying with laws, contracts, network policies, and platform rules that apply to you. Information about privacy technology is not an invitation to evade lawful restrictions or harm others. We may block requests, remove submissions, or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address abuse, security risk, legal obligations, or a material breach of these Terms.

04

Our content and your messages

The Site’s original text, visual design, graphics, selection and arrangement, brand elements, and software are owned by or licensed to MY New Internet Media and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the Site for lawful personal or internal informational use. This license does not transfer ownership or authorize republication of an article in full, resale, removal of rights notices, or creation of a confusingly similar brand.

Product names, logos, and trademarks mentioned in editorial content belong to their respective owners. References are used for identification and commentary and do not imply endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation unless we expressly say otherwise.

If you send feedback, corrections, or suggestions, you retain ownership of any rights you already hold. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to use, reproduce, adapt, and publish that material as reasonably needed to respond, improve the Site, or incorporate the suggestion, without disclosing personal information unnecessarily. You confirm that you have the right to send the material and that it does not violate another person’s confidentiality or intellectual property. Do not send trade secrets or content you expect us to hold under a non-disclosure agreement.

05

Third-party services and commercial links

The Site may link to VPN providers, browser extensions, password managers, software repositories, app stores, research publications, and other websites. A link is provided for convenience or editorial context. We do not control the destination’s availability, code, claims, data practices, pricing, billing, renewals, refunds, or customer support. Your interaction with a third party is governed solely by its own terms and policies, and any dispute about its product must be addressed with that provider.

Some outbound links may be affiliate links. If you take a qualifying action, we may receive compensation at no additional direct cost to you. Sponsorship or affiliate economics do not convert us into the seller of the product and do not expand our control over it. We aim to distinguish paid relationships from independent editorial content and to evaluate products using disclosed criteria, but you should verify important features directly with the provider before buying.

Prices, discounts, server counts, country availability, streaming access, and application compatibility can change without notice. A displayed offer may be unavailable in your region or may renew at a different price. Screenshots and interface descriptions can become outdated after a software release. You are responsible for checking the final purchase page, renewal terms, supported devices, cancellation process, jurisdiction, and current privacy policy.

06

Security, legality, and risk notice

No VPN, browser configuration, or privacy tool provides absolute security or anonymity. VPN software can fail, leak traffic because of device or network conditions, contain vulnerabilities, or be configured incorrectly. A VPN operator may also be compelled to respond to lawful process. Accounts, browser fingerprinting, cookies, payment records, device identifiers, and behavior can connect activity to a person even when an IP address is obscured. You assume responsibility for evaluating these limitations and for maintaining backups, updates, authentication, recovery methods, and other safeguards appropriate to your needs.

VPN use is regulated or restricted in some locations, networks, workplaces, and services. Laws and policies change, and our general content cannot determine whether a particular use is permitted for you. You are responsible for checking the rules that apply before downloading, buying, or using a service. We do not encourage infringement, unauthorized access, circumvention of lawful controls, harassment, fraud, or any other illegal activity.

Never rely on a Site article as the only resource during an immediate safety or cybersecurity incident. If you face stalking, targeted surveillance, domestic abuse, account compromise, or a credible threat, consider contacting a qualified local professional or trusted support organization using a safe device and communication channel. Contacting our editorial form does not create a confidential professional relationship or guarantee a rapid response.

07

Availability, disclaimers, and liability

The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, and accuracy. We do not guarantee that the Site will be error-free, that a recommendation will meet your needs, that a third-party product will remain available, or that following a guide will prevent tracking, data loss, compromise, censorship, or other harm.

We may change, correct, suspend, or discontinue any page or feature without guaranteeing advance notice. Maintenance, hosting failures, malicious activity, legal restrictions, or events beyond reasonable control may interrupt access. We are not responsible for damage caused by a third-party website, download, product, statement, or transaction merely because it was mentioned or linked from the Site.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MY New Internet Media and its contributors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, opportunities, or business interruption arising from use of or inability to use the Site. Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our aggregate liability arising from the Site will be limited to the greater of the amount you paid us specifically to use the Site during the twelve months before the claim or one hundred US dollars. The Site is ordinarily provided without charge.

Some jurisdictions do not permit certain warranty exclusions or liability limits. In that case, these provisions apply only to the fullest extent allowed, and nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or personal injury where applicable law prohibits limitation.

08

General terms, disputes, and contact

If your misuse of the Site or violation of these Terms causes a third-party claim against us, you agree, to the extent permitted by law, to defend and indemnify MY New Internet Media against reasonable losses, liabilities, and expenses resulting from that conduct. This obligation does not apply to losses caused by our own unlawful acts and may be limited by mandatory consumer law.

If a dispute arises, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally. Unless mandatory local law provides otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which MY New Internet Media is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and claims may be brought in its competent courts. Consumers retain any non-waivable right to bring a claim in their home jurisdiction. Nothing here requires arbitration or prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief where available.

If one provision is held unenforceable, it will be adjusted or removed only to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue. A delay in enforcing a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent; we may transfer ours as part of a merger, reorganization, sale, or similar transaction, subject to applicable law. These Terms and the Privacy Policy form the entire agreement concerning use of the Site and replace prior statements on that subject.

Questions about these Terms can be sent to [email protected]. Please include “Terms question” in the subject line and do not send VPN passwords, account recovery codes, payment data, or other secrets.
